Order Processing

All shipping is free! Orders will be processed within 3 business days of order placement. If the order is made-to-order, which is stated on the product page, please double check the time frame in which it will ship on the product page.

Shipping Times

Once the the products are shipped, they will arrive at your doorstep within 4-8 days for US brands and within 5-21 days for international brands. If a brand is based internationally, you will be able to see this on the product page under Shipping & Returns. 

Please note that all orders ships directly from our partners to you and each partner has policies unique to its boutique. Refer to return policies below or on the right hand side of the product page labeled Shipping & Returns. 

Shipping Insurance

ourCommonplace does not take responsibility for lost or stolen packages. Please ensure to add Route shipping insurance to your order to ensure that your order is protected in case of lost, stolen, or damaged packages.  

Duties & Taxes

As the recipient of the order, customers are responsible for any duties or taxes incurred on purchases. Unfortunately, we're unable to advise on the exact amount, and recommend you to contact your local tax authority or customs office before placing an order.

Orders Within The US

  1. Exchange or Store Credit - shipping is free. Each boutique and each brand has return policies unique to their boutique. See below for details. 
  2. Returns for refund - a $6 fee will be charged for returns to each boutique and each brand has return policies unique to their boutique. See below for details.

Orders Outside Of The US

  1. Exchange or Store Credit - customers are currently responsible for all return shipping fees. Please email us at heythere@ourcommonplace.co for the address to ship your item(s) back to 
  2. Returns for refund - customers are currently responsible for all return shipping fees. Please email us at heythere@ourcommonplace.co for the address to ship your item(s) back to

Returns & Exchange Policy: 

  • For any damaged or defective items, you have 14 days from receiving your order to exchange or refund your purchases.
  • Returned items must have tags still on, be in original packaging and, have no visible signs of wear or use. Items will be shipped back at customer's expense otherwise. 
  • Discounted items that are 40% and above are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.
  • Item(s) must be returned within 5 days of return label being issued.  
FOR BRANDS - Klei, Artissanos, Bastet Noir, Marie Hunter Beauty, Taiyo, Knickey

Due to the nature of the product and policies unique to the boutique, we will not be accepting returns for these brands at the moment.

FOR BRANDS - Costanté

You have 7 days from receiving your order to return your purchases due to policies unique to the boutique.

FOR BRANDS - The R Collective, Coclico, AAKS

You have 14 days from receiving your order to return your purchases due to policies unique to the boutique.

FOR ALL OTHER BRANDS

You have 30 days from receiving your order to return your purchases due to policies unique to the boutique.
