These handcrafted set of 4 coasters with a holder made of banana fibers softens your surroundings and give your home a more natural look and texture. It can be used in any room or as a table setting accessory on a daily basis. Available in a modern, natural tonal palette that complements a variety of interior design styles.
Because the products are handmade and each piece is unique, any minor flaw is an individual expression of that artisan's "perfect" handy work.

Gently hand wash with a soft brush or sponge. While still damp, shape the product back to its original form. Air dry.

Our banana fiber products are derived directly from nature. Handmade in South India by local women to provide better income opportunities while also respecting the region's natural ecology. The fiber used to crochet this product is available locally and is made from the "dead" leaves of banana trees. These previously considered waste leaves are now given new life through contemporary and sustainable design innovation.
The banana leaves are hand-spliced to extract fiber strips, which are then twined to create different thickness ropes, which are then hand-crocheted and woven to create these eco-friendly coasters.
